Large expanse of salt water along the Mediterranean, it is visible in many places, as long as you take a little height. 20 km long and 15 km wide, the pond is a partly industrial site, which has nevertheless preserved some natural resources, offering birds diverse habitats. Multiple species of migratory and sedentary birds frequent it.
